Hyderabad: Income Tax (IT) officials launched fresh raids in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning. Teams searched several locations, including Kondapur and Kukatpally. Officers began inspections at the residence of Venkat Reddy in Aparna Homes, Kondapur, and continued operations through the morning. Authorities have not yet disclosed full details of the searches.

Officials also extended the operations to Mahabubnagar and Andhra Pradesh. In Guntur, IT teams inspected the houses of wholesale pulses traders. Other groups searched V Seeds in Kurnool and the home of a dal mill trader in Vinukonda.
Sources said the department is probing possible tax evasion by business groups. Senior officers are expected to release more information once the operations conclude.
