Hyderabad: Income Tax officials continued extensive raids in Hyderabad for the second straight day. The operation focused on former Chevella MP Ranjith Reddy and his financial links to DSR Group construction firms.
The searches began early Tuesday. Officials targeted cash dealings tied to DSR’s real estate projects. Teams inspected offices of DSR Infrastructure, DSR Builders & Developers, and DSR Prime Space.
Ranjith Reddy is reportedly a partner in the DSR Group. IT teams seized documents and large amounts of unaccounted cash. One team remained at his residence through the night.
Officials also traced several bank lockers linked to DSR management. These are expected to be opened today.
Raids also extended to Srinivas Constructions and Srinivas Infra. These companies are under the scanner for alleged ties to the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam. Investigators are reviewing their financial records for irregularities.
Authorities have not disclosed the full extent of the findings. The operation remains ongoing.
