Hyderabad: BRS MLA G Jagadish Reddy on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and the Congress government, accusing them of failing farmers and conspiring against former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Jagadish Reddy accuses government of neglecting farmers
Speaking to reporters at Telangana Bhavan, Jagadish Reddy said the government was unable to supply even urea to farmers. He alleged that instead of addressing farmers’ needs, Revanth Reddy was focused on “cases and commissions” and staging political dramas.
He further claimed that the Chief Minister remembered KCR more often than even BRS leaders and workers. “Revanth makes cheap comments about KCR even before school children. Just thinking of KCR and KTR keeps him awake at night,” he said.
Allegation of wider conspiracy against KCR
The BRS leader alleged that the ongoing actions against KCR and the party were not solely driven by Revanth Reddy. “Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are also behind this conspiracy,” Jagadish Reddy said. He claimed the intention was to weaken KCR mentally and exploit the situation politically.
He asserted that fears had grown across parties that if KCR returned to power, he would emerge as a key player in national politics.
