Hyderabad: Tempers flared at Gandhi Bhavan as TPCC working president Jagga Reddy delivered a fiery rebuttal to BJP leader Eatala Rajender, accusing him of crossing all limits in his criticism of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Speaking to the press, Jagga Reddy alleged that Eatala had descended into personal abuse and was indulging in reckless, baseless outbursts.
“Has Eatala Rajender ever once gone to the Chief Minister and discussed issues concerning his parliamentary constituency?” Jagga Reddy questioned, suggesting that the BJP leader had failed in his duties even as he attacked others for political gain.
“Eatala keeps running his mouth against Revanth garu. The kind of language he’s been using is not just undignified, it’s downright disgraceful,” said Jagga, adding that party workers were furious after hearing the terms being thrown around.
“He’s acting like a madman,” Jagga said bluntly. “He’s lost his political balance. Dreaming of becoming a Union Minister, dreaming of leading the BJP. And now he thinks abusing the CM will earn him a promotion?”
Visibly agitated, Jagga hit back at Eatala’s alleged remarks, saying, “You call the CM ‘na kodaka’—what kind of filth is that? If we used that language back at you, how would you react? Should I say, ‘Ore Eatala, na kodaka’? If we say such things, you’ll hang yourself!”
Jagga Reddy slammed Eatala’s “sense of entitlement” and accused him of throwing tantrums because he wasn’t given a position of power. “You call us psychos? You’re the one behaving like a loose cannon,” he said. “Just because you didn’t get a post, you’ve turned into a political psycho.”
He reminded that Revanth Reddy’s elevation to Chief Minister was a decision made by Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, adding, “You’ve lost your political moorings, Eatala. You used to say caste didn’t matter to you—but look at you now, playing the caste card for political mileage.”
Calling Eatala’s approach “gutter politics,” Jagga Reddy advised him to question the government, raise demands if needed—but not descend to abusive name-calling. “Ask questions, criticise policies—but don’t shout obscenities like ‘na kodaka’. What gutter are you rolling in?”
