HYDERABAD: Former Armur MLA and senior BRS leader Jeevan Reddy appeared at Mokila Police Station in Ranga Reddy district today in connection with a land grabbing case.
The case pertains to allegations by landowner Sama Damodar Reddy, who accused Jeevan Reddy of encroaching upon 114 acres in Mokila. Consequently, multiple cases were registered against Jeevan Reddy under various sections at both Mokila and Chevella police stations.
In response, Jeevan Reddy filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking anticipatory bail and requesting that neither he nor his family members be arrested. The Supreme Court granted interim relief, directing him to cooperate with the investigation while providing protection from arrest.
Following these directives, Jeevan Reddy presented himself at Mokila Police Station today to participate in the ongoing inquiry.
