HYDERABAD: The Jammu and Kashmir government has announced financial assistance for the families of those killed in the recent Pahalgam terror attack. Each bereaved family will receive a compensation of ₹10 lakh.
According to the official statement, individuals who sustained serious injuries in the attack will be given ₹2 lakh each, while those with minor injuries will receive ₹1 lakh. The government stated that the compensation will be implemented immediately on humanitarian grounds.
Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir have directed the local administration to ensure that the financial aid reaches the affected families as swiftly as possible. Condemning the attack in the strongest terms, the government described it as an attempt to disrupt peace and stability in the region.
