Hyderabad: Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad has approved JNTUH Regulation-25, a new academic framework aimed at revamping the BTech syllabus and course structure across its affiliated colleges.
The university’s Academic and Planning division presented the final draft during a meeting on Wednesday. It reflected feedback received from engineering colleges and included updates to both syllabus content and course design.
With the rollout of JNTUH Regulation-25, classes for newly admitted BTech students will commence on August 11. The regulation also sets the stage for standardizing content across all undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs.
Entrance exams for JNTUH’s part-time PhD program are scheduled from September 12 to 14, covering about 1,200 applicants.
