Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudharshan Reddy has released the Jubilee Hills draft voter list for the upcoming 2025 Assembly elections. The list, published on Tuesday, includes 392,669 registered electors under the 61-Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency.
Out of the total, 204,288 are male, 188,356 are female, and 25 voters are listed under the ‘other’ category. To ensure smooth polling, authorities have arranged 407 polling stations across 139 buildings.
Voter verification open until September 17
Eligible voters can verify their names and details in three ways: at their polling station, the Electoral Registration Office, or online via the CEO Telangana portal. If any details are incorrect or missing, voters should submit claims or objections using Forms 6, 7, or 8.
The final date for submitting corrections or new entries is September 17. Officials will complete the review process and resolve all cases by September 25. Subsequently, the final electoral roll will be published on September 30, 2025.
Appeals allowed under electoral law
If a voter disagrees with a decision made by the Electoral Registration Officer, they can appeal under Section 24 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950. Moreover, they may approach the Chief Electoral Officer for a second-level appeal.
The Election Commission has urged all eligible citizens to participate in the verification process. They emphasized that clean and accurate voter rolls are vital for ensuring transparent and fair elections.
