Hyderabad: Telangana RERA fined Jubilee Hills Cooperative House Building Society ₹18,51,255 for project violations. Officials said the society promoted its Phase-4 project in Manchirevula without registration.
The case started after Dr. K. Jyothi Prasad Kosaraju filed a complaint on January 28, 2025. He alleged that the society advertised flats, collected ₹5 lakh advances, and linked membership to purchases.
Jubilee Hills Society was fined by RERA for promoting a housing project without approval
RERA noted that brochures for 1910 units, 40 floors, and two clubhouses were circulated without approval. The society claimed a High Court petition was pending. RERA, however, used its suo motu powers to act.
The regulator ordered the society to stop advertisements and bookings until registration. It gave 30 days to pay the fine, warning of tougher penalties under Section 63 for non-compliance.
