Hyderabad: Jukkal MLA Totha Laxmikantar Rao urged the Centre to sanction a special package for the backward Jukkal constituency in Telangana. He met Union Minister of State for Rural Development and Communications Pemmasani Chandrasekhar in New Delhi on Wednesday and honoured him with a shawl.
MLA seeks funds and projects for Jukkal
Laxmikantar Rao requested the minister to tour Jukkal and extend financial support for the constituency’s development. He said Chandrasekhar responded positively and assured full cooperation.
The MLA added that the minister also promised to sanction three BSNL towers for Jukkal. According to him, the towers would improve telecom connectivity in the district and help bridge infrastructure gaps in the region.
Laxmikantar Rao said the Centre’s assistance would boost development in the backward constituency. Sai Patel and Bhujangari Bhaskar Reddy accompanied him during the meeting.
