Hyderabad: Evangelist and Global Peace Mission founder K.A. Paul has announced that the World Peace Conference will be held as scheduled on Saturday, May 24, at Jinkana Grounds in Hyderabad. Addressing the media at the Praja Shanti Party office in Panjagutta, Paul clarified that the event is non-political and will not feature his party’s name in any official capacity.
Paul stated that the conference is being organised solely under the banner of the Global Peace Mission and aims to unite people across nations in prayers for global peace. “World leaders and citizens are praying for peace, and we want India to be part of this global voice,” he said.
He dismissed speculation that the event had political overtones, saying, “Despite rumours, this is not a political gathering. We are conducting the event in full compliance with court, government, and police guidelines.”
According to Paul, invitations have been sent to the Prime Minister of India, Chief Ministers and ministers of all 29 states, as well as global heads of state and religious leaders. He expressed hope that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy would attend the conference, noting that such participation could promote Telangana internationally and attract investment into the state, contributing to its economic development.
The official poster for the event was released last week.
