Hyderabad: Heavy inflows into the Kadem reservoir in Nirmal district forced irrigation authorities to lift 17 gates on Saturday, releasing 1,10,849 cusecs downstream. With the project brimming, large numbers of tourists flocked to witness the gushing outflows, even as police deployed tight security at the site.
