Hyderabad: The Justice PC Ghose commission probing the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project has issued a third letter to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government, demanding the cabinet minutes from the previous administration.
The demand follows two earlier requests: one after engineers made an open‑court statement and another following IAS officer testimony. The commission also sought minutes after Revanth Reddy’s public comments.
Commissioners have scolded the state for delays, asking how many times they must request the documents. The commission warned that attempts to portray former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao as solely culpable could boomerang.
Documents covering key decisions, cabinet approvals, and site changes from Tummidihatti to Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla have not yet been furnished.
The state government will discuss whether to comply with the commission’s request in the next cabinet meeting.
