Hyderabad: Senior Congress leaders from the united Karimnagar district met on Friday under the chairmanship of District In-charge Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao to discuss strategies for the upcoming local body elections.
The meeting, held at the Ministers’ Quarters, was attended by Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu, and Adluri Laxman Kumar. MLC Addanki Dayakar, MLAs Kavvampalli Satyanarayana and Medipalli Satyam, former Minister J. Geetha Reddy, Karimnagar Parliament in-charge Velichala Rajender Rao, Sircilla Congress in-charge K.K. Mahender Reddy, Huzurabad Congress in-charge Oditla Pranav, Narender Reddy, and other key leaders also participated.

Party leaders held detailed discussions on the approach to be taken in the local body polls. They reviewed methods for selecting candidates, constituency-wise responsibilities of in-charges, and strategies to secure victories. Emphasis was placed on coordinated campaigning and collective responsibility to strengthen the Congress position across the district.
