HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) expressed dissatisfaction with party members’ behaviour during his visit to Telangana Bhavan on Wednesday. This visit marked his return to the party headquarters after a seven-month hiatus and was intended to discuss plans for the party’s 25th anniversary celebrations.
A large number of BRS supporters gathered at Telangana Bhavan in anticipation of KCR’s arrival. As he approached, enthusiastic workers surged forward, leading to jostling and loud chants of “CM… CM.” Despite KCR’s appeals for calm, requesting, “I bow to you, please don’t push,” the crowd remained disorderly. Security personnel had to escort him into the party office amidst the commotion.
During the meeting, discussions focused on organisational restructuring, membership drives, and plans for a major public rally. KCR also sought to provide guidance on countering anti-government narratives and strengthening party operations.
The incident highlights KCR’s strong support base among party workers but also underscores the need for better crowd management at key events.
