Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Wednesday extended Vinayaka Chavithi greetings to the people of Telangana, praying for prosperity, harmony, and well-being across the state.
In his message, KCR said Lord Ganesha was worshipped as the remover of obstacles and the one who brings success and happiness. He prayed for good harvests, prosperity in farming households, and peace in every family.
KCR remarked that Ganesh Navaratri celebrations, starting with Vinayaka Chavithi, have for generations been woven into India’s cultural fabric, bringing together communities across villages and towns. “These festivities strengthen cultural unity, promote devotion, and reinforce the spirit of collective harmony,” he said. He wished that every household in Telangana progresses on the path of development with the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
