Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday arrested three revenue officials in Khammam district for accepting a ₹10,000 bribe to process a land registration.
The accused are Tallada Tahsildar Vankayala Suresh Kumar, Revenue Inspector Maloth Bhaskar Rao, and Data Entry Operator Shivaji Rathod. Officials said the trio demanded money from a complainant to register his purchased land and complete related paperwork.
ACB appeals to public to report bribery cases
The ACB urged people to report officials who demand bribes. Citizens can call the toll-free number 1064, use WhatsApp at 9440446106, or reach the bureau via Facebook (Telangana ACB), X (@TelanganaACB), and the website acb.telangana.gov.in.
The agency assured that it would protect the identity of complainants and victims.
