Kishan Reddy counters Revanth Reddy over Kaleshwaram Telangana row

Hyderabad: Union Minister G Kishan Reddy hit back at Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy over his comments on the Kaleshwaram project case and the alleged BJP–BRS deal. He said the Chief Minister should first debate the Congress government’s six unfulfilled guarantees before blaming others.

Revanth Reddy had earlier challenged Kishan Reddy to make the CBI arrest former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and former minister T Harish Rao by November 11. He alleged that the BJP and BRS had a secret understanding. Revanth also asked why the CBI had not made arrests even after taking up the Kaleshwaram case three months ago.

During the Jubilee Hills by-election campaign, Kishan Reddy said the BJP never promised a CBI probe into the Kaleshwaram project. He urged Revanth Reddy to debate the “false declarations and 420 promises” made by the Congress instead.

He told the Chief Minister to stop making false charges against the BJP. Kishan Reddy said the people of Telangana knew what each party was doing. He added that voters would judge the Congress by its actions, not its words.
