Hyderabad: Kodad Traffic Sub-Inspector Anji Reddy asked petty traders not to block roads or cause traffic problems in the town. Acting on District SP Narasimha’s orders, he inspected Kodad Main Road on Saturday.
Anji Reddy told shopkeepers to remove boards and materials placed on roads and footpaths. He warned that strict action would follow if they ignored the directions. The SI advised traders to run their businesses without disturbing traffic.
Kodad police act to ease town traffic
Police, along with municipal staff, cleared encroachments on main roads to reduce congestion. The move eased travel for pedestrians and motorists in busy areas of Kodad.
People appreciated the joint effort of the police and civic teams that restored road space. The drive helped improve traffic flow and public safety. Head constables Narahari, Somapongu Srinivas, Upender Goud, Nagender, Bhadrachalam, and Mohan Rao joined the operation.
