Hyderabad: A woman murdered her husband by stabbing him multiple times during a domestic dispute at their residence in Kokapet under Narsingi police limits on Thursday night.
Police identified the couple as Krishna Jyoti Bora and Bharaka Bora, natives of Assam who had migrated to Hyderabad for daily wage work.
Kokapet murder case after family dispute
Investigators said the couple often fought, with the husband allegedly harassing his wife over trivial issues in recent days. Around midnight, a heated argument turned violent. In a fit of rage, Jyoti picked up a vegetable knife and stabbed her husband repeatedly.
Locals rushed inside after hearing his screams and found him lying in a pool of blood. They shifted him to a nearby hospital, but he died while undergoing treatment.
Narsingi police booked a murder case and arrested the woman. Further investigation is underway.
