Hyderabad: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Monday inaugurated the newly built Erramanzil govt school in Hyderabad, developed with ₹8 crore and equipped with corporate-level amenities.

Local MLA Danam Nagender, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, corporator Vijaya Reddy, Hyderabad Collector Harichandana, and senior R&B officials joined the launch event. The government aims to make the school a leading model institution in both Telugu states.

Komatireddy said the school includes modern facilities and will soon add digital and air-conditioned classrooms. He described the project as a reflection of the government’s strong commitment to quality education.

The Minister outlined Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s plan to transform education through the ₹20,000 crore Young India Integrated Residential Schools initiative. He noted that construction is underway in all constituencies, with the Nalgonda school already reaching slab level.

He praised the officials and engineers involved, stating that Telangana is setting new standards for public education infrastructure.

Responding to former Minister T. Harish Rao’s remarks, Komatireddy asserted, “This is a government of action, not promises.” He said the current administration is completing long-stalled projects from the previous regime.

He cited key projects moving ahead quickly, including TIMS Hospital in Sanathnagar, set to open by October 31. Hospitals at Alwal, LB Nagar, and Warangal, along with the ₹2,000 crore NIMS expansion, are progressing on tight deadlines.

Despite inheriting ₹40,000 crore in pending bills, Komatireddy said the government had pressed forward. He also accused opposition leaders of increasing public appearances ahead of elections, while reaffirming that the current focus remains firmly on delivery and public welfare.
