Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Friday paid tribute to teachers during the Teachers’ Day celebrations held in Nalgonda, calling them “guides who illuminate the path from ignorance to knowledge.”
The Minister congratulated the recipients of the Best Teacher Awards, describing the honouring of educators as a proud moment for Telangana. “After parents, it is teachers who shape our lives,” he said in a statement shared on social media.
Komatireddy hails teachers as torchbearers of knowledge
Komatireddy also paid tribute to former President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, calling his contributions to education “eternally inspiring.” He noted that Radhakrishnan’s ideals continue to influence India’s approach to teaching and learning.
He reaffirmed the Telangana government’s commitment to high-quality education. Highlighting ongoing efforts, he said the State is building Young India Integrated Residential Schools to equip every student to compete at a global level.
