Hyderabad: Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy on Thursday inaugurated the renovated Bhavitha Centre in Nalgonda, upgraded with assistance from the Prateek Foundation.
The Minister said additional facilities, if required, would be arranged through the foundation. He noted that Prateek Foundation had already contributed ₹10 lakh for the modernisation project.
Responding to a request by District Collector Ila Tripathi, Komatireddy approved the introduction of speech therapy sessions twice a week at the centre.
The renovation work included the establishment of an activity room and improvement of basic infrastructure. The ₹17 lakh project was jointly funded with ₹10 lakh from the foundation and ₹7 lakh from the District Collectorate.
Komatireddy instructed officials to fully equip the centre and also ordered the installation of an air-conditioning unit.
