Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy says he is ready to wait for minister post

Hyderabad: Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy said on Sunday that he is ready to wait for a ministerial post. But he added that he will not compromise on fighting for his constituency.

At a free eye camp in Sansthan Narayanapur mandal, hosted by the Komatireddy Sushilamma Foundation, Reddy recalled that Congress had promised him a minister post when he joined. He noted that the party has delayed the appointment for various reasons.

He reminded people that he had earlier resigned to push for local development. That step brought projects like a 100-bed hospital at Choutuppal, a revenue division at Chandur, and compensation for families displaced by the Shivannagudem reservoir.

Reddy said he will not remain silent after gaining office. He stressed that any injustice to farmers or Munugode people will push him to fight, even at the cost of power or money.
