Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Telangana Congress government, accusing it of institutionalised corruption and political vendetta. Speaking to media in Nalgonda, KTR claimed that commissions of 20 to 30 percent have become the norm in the state’s governance under the Congress.
Describing the Revanth Reddy-led administration as a “circus running on commissions,” KTR said the recent protest by contractors outside the Deputy Chief Minister’s office was direct evidence of the growing corruption. “When contractors are forced to come out and protest, it’s clear something is deeply wrong,” he said.
He also termed the notice served to former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao as part of a larger political conspiracy, allegedly orchestrated by Congress and BJP in coordination, aimed at discrediting the Kaleshwaram project. “This is not about accountability, it’s about vendetta politics,” KTR alleged.
Criticising the ruling party further, he accused the government of relying more on probes and committees than actually fulfilling its electoral promises. He warned that failure to deliver on key guarantees including ₹2,500 monthly allowance for women, gold for brides, and pension schemes could trigger widespread public anger.
