Hyderabad: BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao alleged a massive TDR scam in Hyderabad, calling it a multi-thousand-crore fraud.
KTR said he had exposed irregularities in TDR issuance six months ago. He claimed the ruling Congress had deepened the scam. “A top Congress leader’s aide is running the TDR black market. GHMC stopped issuing new TDRs, creating artificial scarcity. Congress leaders are looting thousands of crores,” KTR said.

He added that the real estate sector was already struggling with low demand. “Instead of supporting the sector, Congress leaders are choking it with corruption,” KTR remarked. He warned that the fraud had now reached dangerous proportions.
