Hyderabad, January 6: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) left his Nandi Nagar residence on Monday to appear before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in connection with the Formula-E case. His arrival at the ACB office in Banjara Hills sparked tensions as police imposed restrictions on his movement.
Upon reaching the ACB office, KTR’s vehicle was stopped by police officials, who barred lawyers from accompanying him into the premises. The move drew criticism, with KTR asserting that every citizen has the right to exercise their legal entitlements under the law.
“Lawyers should be allowed to accompany me as per the constitutional rights guaranteed to every citizen,” KTR stated, expressing discontent over the restrictions.
The Formula-E case has become a focal point in Telangana’s political landscape, with KTR’s appearance at the ACB office drawing significant attention. Further developments in the case are awaited.
