HYDERABAD: BRS working president and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has once again criticized the Congress-led Telangana government, accusing it of financial mismanagement and policy failures. Taking to social media, KTR has been raising concerns about unfulfilled promises and alleged irregularities during the 15-month rule of the Congress.

In a sensational tweet today, KTR compared Telangana to Baahubali, stating that the state has been sacrificed under the current administration. He wrote, “There are bundles of money to send to Delhi, but not a single rupee for implementing promises, guarantees, salaries for employees, or pensions for retirees?” He further slammed the Congress government, saying that under incompetent leadership, the state’s financial sector has plunged into chaos.

Accusing Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of ruining Telangana’s economy, KTR alleged that despite securing power under the “payment quota,” the CM has wrecked a well-structured financial system built over a decade. He claimed that the financial mismanagement under Congress will go down in Telangana’s history as an unforgivable mistake.

KTR also lashed out at the delay in salaries, pointing out that while the government assured timely payments, salaries of ASHA workers and Anganwadi employees have been withheld. “How shameless is it to deceive employees by promising salaries on the first of every month and then failing to pay them?” he questioned.

He further accused the government of not only failing to implement guarantees but also being unable to pay employees’ salaries, calling it an example of Congress’ inefficiency. KTR stated that blaming employees for the government’s failures is an insult to their self-respect and warned the CM and the Congress government against making such remarks.
