HYDERABAD: K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), the Working President of BRS, has critticised Minister Revanth Reddy for his frequent visits to Delhi, accusing him of neglecting pressing issues in Telangana. In a recent social media post, KTR expressed his disapproval of the Chief Minister’s actions.
KTR alleged that Revanth Reddy has made 39 trips to Delhi, engaging in self-promotion without securing any financial assistance for Telangana. He criticized the Chief Minister’s conduct, suggesting that while he maintains a low profile locally, his statements in Delhi are exaggerated.
KTR further highlighted that farmers are suffering due to a lack of irrigation water, with crops drying up and fields lying barren. He accused Revanth Reddy of neglecting these issues, choosing instead to focus on his Delhi tours without reviewing the state’s irrigation problems.
Questioning the relevance of Revanth Reddy’s relationship with Rahul Gandhi to the people of Telangana, KTR asked what benefits these ties bring to the state. He pointed out that while citizens in various localities express dissatisfaction over unfulfilled promises, the Chief Minister continues his visits to Delhi.
KTR concluded by criticizing Revanth Reddy’s unfulfilled promises, suggesting that his statements are empty rhetoric. He called on the people of Telangana to be vigilant, using the phrase “Wake up Telangana, wake up” to emphasize his point.
