Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao will inaugurate the 10th edition of the FMAE national student motorsports competition 2025 on October 11 at Kumaraguru Institutions in Coimbatore.
The Fraternity of Mechanical and Automotive Engineers (FMAE) is organizing the event. It will feature over 1,300 student engineers from 101 colleges across India. More than 70 teams will present self-built vehicles and engineering innovations.
A panel of 25 experts from the automotive industry will evaluate the entries for design, performance, and innovation.
In its invitation, FMAE praised KTR for bringing Formula E to Hyderabad. The group credited him with placing Telangana on the global motorsports map. It also lauded his role in advancing sustainable mobility and innovation-driven manufacturing.
The competition ranks among India’s top student-led engineering platforms. It aims to connect academic talent with industry needs and promote India as a hub for future automotive technologies.
