Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K Tarakarama Rao will distribute KCR Kits to 4,910 new mothers and infants in Telangana’s Sircilla district on July 24, as part of the ‘Gift A Smile’ initiative marking his birthday.
The party said the programme, introduced five years ago as a small idea, has grown into a recurring public outreach effort bringing measurable benefits to thousands. The initiative, which began as a local welfare gesture, now targets early maternal and neonatal care through the distribution of essential supplies.
This year’s edition of the programme has been branded more “innovative,” though details on the expanded format or additional features of the distribution were not provided. The BRS described the kits as part of a long-term commitment to health-focused welfare delivery in rural Telangana.
No official launch event or venue details have been announced yet.
