Hyderabad: BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao landed in Dallas, USA, on Sunday as part of his international tour, receiving a grand welcome from the party’s NRI wing and Telangana supporters.
A large crowd of NRIs and key party leaders turned up at the airport to greet KTR and extend their wishes. The visit comes at a time when BRS is celebrating its silver jubilee with festivities planned across the US.
KTR is slated to be the chief guest at the BRS silver jubilee and Telangana Formation Day celebrations scheduled for Sunday evening at 4 pm at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Dallas.
Having wrapped up his two-day London tour, KTR arrived in Dallas accompanied by party MLAs Gangula Kamalakar and Padi Kaushik Reddy, among others. Amid tight security, he was escorted in a special convoy to his accommodation.
