Hyderabad, January 13: BRS Working President and Telangana Minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) paid his respects to the mortal remains of former MP and senior political leader Manda Jagannadham on Sunday. He also met the family members of the late leader and offered his condolences.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR expressed grief over the demise of Jagannadham and prayed for his soul to rest in peace. He remarked that Telangana has lost a seasoned politician who left a lasting mark on Palamuru district politics. KTR praised Jagannadham’s significant contributions as a four-time MP and highlighted his amicable nature and commitment to the state’s welfare. He particularly noted Jagannadham’s vision for the development of the erstwhile Mahbubnagar district.
Jagannadham had been suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and heart and kidney-related issues for some time. On December 22, he was admitted to NIMS after experiencing lung-related complications. Despite receiving intensive care, including ventilator support in the RICU, his condition deteriorated. On Sunday evening, he suffered a cardiac arrest, and though emergency treatment was administered, doctors at NIMS declared him dead at 7:40 PM.
The medical team issued a bulletin confirming his passing, marking the end of a respected political career.
