Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao launched a sharp attack on the Congress-led Revanth Reddy government, stating that no one in Telangana is happy—not even its own leaders.
Speaking at a public meeting, KTR said that until recently, he used to hear that “Geetha akka, Seethakka, and Surekha” were content. “But now, even Surekha akka is unhappy,” he added, citing emotional remarks from her daughter.
He criticised the government for failing to provide farmers with urea and uninterrupted electricity. “Farmers are frustrated and feel abandoned,” he said.
KTR slams Revanth govt for fall in land prices, farmer neglect
KTR pointed to Siricilla, where land once sold at ₹31,000 per square yard during BRS rule. “Now it has dropped to ₹19,000,” he claimed.
He recently visited Sendulapur village. Farmers there told him that land values crashed from ₹50 lakh to ₹21 lakh per acre since the Congress came to power.
KTR urged citizens to reflect on how much their property values and livelihoods have declined under the current government.
