KTR to visit Khammam, Kothagudem for condolence meetings on Friday

Hyderabad: BRS working president and former minister K. T. Rama Rao is set to visit the old Khammam district today to pay his respects to the families of two late former legislators.

He’ll be leaving Hyderabad by helicopter around 11 a.m., according to the schedule and arrive at Mamata Medical College in Khammam. He will meet party workers briefly before proceeding at 11:30 a.m. to the residence of former MLA Banoth Madanlal in Kaviraj Nagar to console his family members.

From there, he will return to the helipad at Mamata Medical College by 12 noon and fly to Karakagudem. At 12:40 p.m., he is expected to reach the residence of former MLA Rega Kantha Rao in Samath Bhattupalli, Karakagudem mandal. KTR will pay floral tribute to Rega’s late mother and meet the bereaved family.

He will depart from Karakagudem at 1:30 p.m. and is expected to return to Hyderabad by 2:30 p.m.

Former minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, Rajya Sabha MP Vaddiraju Ravichandra, and other BRS leaders will accompany him.
