Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao called on Janagaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy at Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda on Thursday, days after the legislator suffered a fracture in a freak accident.
The MLA, who recently underwent surgery, spoke to KTR during the visit and assured him that he was recovering well and responding positively to treatment. Rajeshwar Reddy expressed confidence that he would be back on his feet soon and resume his public duties without much delay.
The BRS leader, accompanied by former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and several party MLAs, MLCs and senior leaders, spent time with the recuperating MLA, enquiring about his progress and extending his best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Rajeshwar Reddy was injured two days ago when he accidentally slipped in the bathroom at his farmhouse in Erravalli. The fall left him with a fracture in his left thigh bone, requiring immediate medical attention and surgical intervention.
KTR, during his visit, conveyed hopes that the MLA would make a swift return to active public life, and resume his political responsibilities at the earliest.
