Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday welcomed the Telangana High Court’s verdict on the TSPSC Group‑1 Mains exam, calling it a major setback for the Congress government led by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
KTR: Verdict delivers justice to unemployed youth
Rama Rao stressed that the ruling finally delivered justice to unemployed youth who persistently highlighted irregularities in the examinations. He pointed out that despite repeated appeals and substantial evidence presented by students, the TSPSC remained unyielding. In fact, the government even resorted to punitive measures and used force against job seekers.
“The High Court’s decision stands praiseworthy it vindicates the efforts of these aspirants,” Rama Rao told reporters.
Exams mishandled from centre allotment to results
He listed faults across the examination process, including exam centre assignments, hall ticket distribution, and result manipulation. “Revanth Reddy must answer for mismanaging students’ futures by rushing exams without proper safeguards,” he said.
KTR urges immediate action, not more delays
Rama Rao welcomed the court’s intervention, which halted the government’s attempt to undermine Group‑1 positions. He accused the ruling party of misleading jobless youth with hollow promises before and after elections, and failing to conduct proper exams.
He demanded an apology from the Chief Minister and urged full compliance with the court’s directive—to re-evaluate or re-conduct the Group‑1 Mains within eight months. “Stop filing appeals. Implement the verdict and deliver justice,” he said.
