Hyderabad: Kukatpally Police arrested three offenders involved in house and automobile thefts and recovered property worth about ₹36 lakh. The seized items included 290 grams of gold, a Hyundai i20 car, and a Canon EOS 5D Mark-III camera.
During routine patrolling at Usha Mullapudi X Road, officers noticed a suspicious man carrying ornaments. When they checked, they found gold items in his pocket. Police immediately took him into custody. Later, his confession led investigators to two more accused.

Recovered property:
- 290 grams of gold ornaments: one haram, one necklace, two chains, two pairs of bangles, two bracelets
- Hyundai i20 car
- Canon EOS 5D Mark-III camera with accessories
Accused persons:
- Aryan Yogesh Dhakan, linked to two house theft cases worth ₹30 lakh
- Massi Suresh, involved in a Hyundai i20 car theft worth ₹4 lakh
- Alluri Pavan, accused of stealing a Canon camera worth ₹2.5 lakh
Modus operandi
- Aryan Yogesh Dhakan: A school dropout from Balaji Nagar, he targeted unlocked houses near his residence. Because of his addiction to vices, he spent stolen money on a lavish lifestyle.
- Massi Suresh: A network engineer from Jagadgirigutta, he stole parked vehicles to fund his habits.
- Alluri Pavan: A photographer from Moosapet, he stole a professional camera from the studio where he worked.
Police action
Balanagar DCP K. Suresh Kumar, IPS supervised the operation. He was assisted by ACP E. Ravi Kiran Reddy, SHO K.V. Subba Rao, DI M. Kondala Rao, and SI G. Ravinder Reddy. The officers stressed that strict patrolling, combined with timely intervention, helped crack the case quickly.
