Hyderabad: Police arrested two men in Ranchi, Jharkhand, in connection with the Kukatpally woman murder case. The suspects, Harsh and Roshan, allegedly killed 50-year-old Renu Agarwal inside her home at Swan Lake gated community two days ago.
Investigators said Roshan had worked for nine years at a relative’s house of the victim in Swan Lake. He recently introduced his associate Harsh, also from Jharkhand, as a cook at Renu’s home.

On September 10, Renu’s husband Rakesh and son Shubham left for their shop in Fatehnagar. Renu stayed back alone. When Rakesh failed to reach her by phone in the evening, he rushed home. After breaking open the back door, he found Renu tied up and lying in a pool of blood.
CCTV footage confirmed Harsh and Roshan killed her. Police said the duo tortured Renu for money and jewellery, tied her with ropes, slit her throat with knives, and smashed her head with a cooker. They later looted valuables from the lockers, packed them in a suitcase, bathed, locked the house, and fled on a scooter.
The suspects travelled in a cab via Visakhapatnam to reach Ranchi. The cab driver later identified them from photos shared by police on Instagram. He alerted authorities, who tracked and arrested the pair in Ranchi. Officials are now bringing them back to Hyderabad for further investigation.
