Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy expressed deep grief over the death of senior CPI leader Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy and conveyed condolences to his family.
Calling the demise a painful loss, the Chief Minister recalled that the veteran leader hailed from the undivided Mahbubnagar district and rose to national prominence. He played a key role in the Left movements and took part in several public struggles. Reddy noted that Sudhakar Reddy won the Nalgonda MP seat twice. He described him as a leader who left a distinct mark on Indian politics.
Tributes pour in for Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy
Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed shock over the veteran leader’s death. He described him as a disciplined and honest politician. According to him, Sudhakar Reddy stayed committed to communist ideology while working with people across the spectrum. He added that the leader’s contributions would remain an indelible part of national politics. He prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
State Roads, Buildings and Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also mourned his death. He remembered Sudhakar Reddy as a man of integrity, twice elected as MP from Nalgonda. The minister called his demise a great loss to Indian politics. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
