TIRUMALA: A leopard sighting near the Alipiri footpath in Tirumala has once again caused concern among devotees. The incident took place at midnight near Gali Gopuram, where the leopard was seen roaming.
The movement of the wild animal was captured on CCTV cameras, confirming its presence in the area. Fortunately, as per security protocols, devotees are not allowed to use the footpath after 10 PM, preventing any major incident.
Authorities have been alerted about the leopard sighting, and precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safety of pilgrims. Officials are monitoring the situation closely and may implement additional restrictions if needed.
This is not the first time a leopard has been spotted on the Alipiri footpath.
