Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh minister Nara Lokesh met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar in Delhi on Tuesday during an official visit to the capital.
Lokesh raised concerns over the state’s financial condition and sought central assistance. He also discussed pending assurances made by the Centre at the time of Andhra Pradesh’s bifurcation.
The minister briefed the Vice President on preparations for the International Yoga Day event scheduled to be held on June 21 in Visakhapatnam.
Central minister Ram Mohan Naidu and MPs Krishna Devarayalu, Satish Reddy and Byreddy Shabari accompanied Lokesh during the meeting.
