Madhu Yashki Goud alleges officials are leaking government information to opposition
HYDERABAD: Senior Congress leader and former Member of Parliament Madhu Yashki Goud has alleged that certain officials are colluding with opposition parties and leaking government information.
Speaking to the media, Madhu Yashki Goud advised the Congress government to transfer senior officials who held key positions during the 10-year rule of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) to less significant roles.
He pointed out multiple instances of intelligence failure in the state and stated that a list of corrupt officials has already reached Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Madhu Yashki Goud urged the Chief Minister to take strict action against these officials to ensure transparency in governance.
Referring to the recent murder of Rajalinga Murthy in Bhupalpally, Madhu Yashki Goud said the incident exposed lapses in the police system. Additionally, he stressed the need to investigate the alleged irregularities committed by former Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, stating that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) scam took place under his supervision.
He further claimed that officers responsible for investigations were themselves involved in corruption, leading to delays in the probe process. He emphasized the importance of taking decisive steps against such officials to restore public trust in the administration.
