Hyderabad: Former MP and TPCC Campaign Committee Chairman Madhu Yaskhi Goud offered floral tributes to Konda Laxman Bapuji on his death anniversary at Tank Bund in Hyderabad.
He visited the statue along with Visharadhan Maharaj, Naragoni, and Jajula Srinivas Goud. Together, they garlanded the statue and honoured the senior leader’s legacy. Speaking at the site, Madhu Yaskhi recalled his frequent conversations with Bapuji during his time as an MP. They had discussed Telangana statehood and other key issues.
He described Bapuji as a man of values and a lifelong fighter for Telangana. According to him, Bapuji’s political life was rooted in ethics and public service.
Madhu Yaskhi says real tribute to Bapuji is achieving social Telangana
Yaskhi stressed that the dream of Telangana remains incomplete. He called for the realisation of “social Telangana,” where Bahujan communities hold political power. Only then, he said, can the state truly honour Bapuji’s ideals.
He urged BC, SC, and ST communities to unite in pursuit of that vision. Moreover, he criticised the BRS government for failing these sections over the last decade.
Madhu Yaskhi assured that the Congress-led people’s government would treat all communities fairly. He promised that the administration would listen to every concern and resolve issues without delay.
