HYDERABAD: A delegation from the Madiga Intellectual Forum met Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Friday and expressed gratitude for initiating the Scheduled Caste (SC) reservation categorisation process. The representatives lauded the Chief Minister for his proactive efforts in addressing their long-pending demand.
The delegation acknowledged the government’s commitment to expediting the categorisation process and thanked CM Revanth Reddy for his initiative and support. They urged the government to ensure a speedy and transparent implementation of the process.
Among those present were Higher Education Council Vice Chairman Professor Itikyal Purushotham, Osmania University Vice-Chancellor Professor M. Kumar, OU Arts College Principal Professor C. Kashim, Professor Gaddam Mallesham, AICC Secretary Sampath Kumar, and Telangana Education Commission member Dr. Charakonda Venkatesh.
The meeting focused on educational and social empowerment measures for the Madiga community, with assurances from the Chief Minister to take necessary steps in this regard.
