Hyderabad: Three students suffered minor injuries from an electric shock at the Mahabubabad Government Tribal Boys’ Ashram School on Tuesday.
The incident occurred in front of the school hostel, where electrical repair work was underway on a sheet-roofed shed. As students Sai Kumar and Hemanth from Class 8, and Siddharth from Class 9, were returning after lunch, they came into contact with pipes connected to the shed and received an electric jolt.
The caretaker immediately shifted them to the local area hospital. Hemanth and Siddharth were discharged after treatment, while Sai Kumar remains under medical care.
