HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Mahesh Kumar Goud strongly reacted to the recent remarks made by BRS Working President K. T. Rama Rao, alleging that KTR has entered into a secret BRS BJP pact to evade corruption charges against his party.
Goud stated that KTR’s accusations against the Congress were baseless and intended to conceal the alleged collusion between the BRS and BJP. He asserted that the BRS, during its ten-year rule in the state, engaged in widespread corruption and is now aligning with the BJP in an effort to avoid accountability.
He accused the BRS of betraying the people of Telangana by supporting the BJP-led central government’s policies, despite claiming otherwise. According to him, the BRS is now attempting to deflect attention from its own wrongdoings by targeting the Congress with unfounded allegations.
Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that the leadership of the BRS has caused harm to the interests of Telangana’s people by misusing the state’s resources in coordination with the BJP. He said the Congress government, in contrast, has initiated various welfare schemes and is committed to the well-being of the public.
He concluded by demanding that the BRS leadership be held accountable for its past corruption and present itself before the public for a transparent explanation.
