A 42-year-old man lost his life after being run over by a lorry tanker at Kandi National Highway Junction. Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation.
HYDERABAD: A tragic accident occurred on Thursday evening at Kandi National Highway Junction, where a man was run over by a lorry tanker, resulting in his instant death.
According to Rural Sub-Inspector (SI) Ravinder, the deceased has been identified as Ramavath Raju (42), a resident of Thunikilla Thanda in Kandi Mandal. He was a farmer by profession and is survived by his wife and two children.
On February 27, Raju was traveling on his TVS Excel two-wheeler for some work in Kandi. While taking a U-turn, a lorry tanker collided with his vehicle, knocking him down. Unfortunately, he fell under the wheels of the tanker and died on the spot.
Following a complaint from his wife, Prameela, the police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
