Hyderabad: A car was completely destroyed after it caught fire late Wednesday night in the Kesampet police station limits of Ranga Reddy district.
According to police and the driver’s statement, the incident occurred when a man named Krishna, from Guntlavelli village in Farooqnagar mandal, was returning home from Papireddy Guda in Kesampet mandal.
The fire broke out following a sudden technical malfunction in the vehicle’s engine. Krishna attempted to open the door but found it jammed. He then forcefully kicked it open and managed to escape just before the flames spread.
He immediately alerted the Kesampet police and fire services. Firefighters arrived on the scene and extinguished the blaze. Police conducted an inspection and confirmed the car was completely gutted.
