Hyderabad: Two students of the CSE Residential Coaching Academy at Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU) cleared the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGSPSC) Group B exams, bringing laurels to the university.
Academy Director Prof. H. Aleem Basha said both candidates would soon join government departments in Telangana. Mohammed Nazir secured the post of Assistant Registrar. Chandoori Venkata Krishna earned selection as Deputy Tahsildar.
Earlier, five students from the academy cleared the Group I services exam. The achievers included Banwat Vanaja, Gujjari Sangeeta, Gangavath Poon Kalyan, Mathiyala Raj Shekhar and R. Merry Gold. Vice Chancellor Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Registrar Prof. Ishtiyaq Ahmed and Prof. Aleem Basha congratulated the successful candidates.
MANUU scholar earns PhD in journalism
In a separate announcement, the Controller of Examinations confirmed that research scholar Mohammed Ehsan Khan earned eligibility for a PhD in Mass Communication and Journalism.
He completed his thesis titled “A Comparative Study of Development News in Selected Urdu and English Newspapers Published from Hyderabad” under the guidance of Prof. Mohammed Faryad, Head of the Department. He defended his thesis on September 11.
